Hong Kong Heritage Museum

Hong Kong Heritage Museum is built in a traditional Chinese courtyard architectural design. It is a five stories high museum located on the side of Shing Mun River and south of Sha Tin Park. There is an orientation theatre to introduce the collections and role of the museum, a New Territories Heritage Hall to present the 6000-year history of the New Territories, a Children's Discovery Galley specially designed for children and families, a Cantonese Opera Heritage Hall & various art galleries. In addition to the permanent exhibitions, educational programs, workshops, seminars and performances are also arranged in the education studios, seminar rooms and a 400-seats theatre.
